About the Campaign
Launched in 2017 when Sierra Ranches donated 1% of its Western Treasures Sale, the Foundation 1 Campaign has continued to grow through the generosity of breeders who believe in giving back. Nearly a decade later, with contributors such as Jensen Ranch’s Chosen Sale, Brumley Farms and the Gohr family joining the effort, the campaign has generated nearly $300,000 to support HYFA’s pillars of leadership and education—and new contributors continue to join each year.
There’s no one-size-fits-all way to participate. Some breeders contribute 1% of their gross sale proceeds. Others choose one special lot to designate for the campaign. Whether you give 1% or select one lot, your contribution helps create opportunities for young people to develop leadership skills, pursue education and become the next generation of Hereford leaders.
