The most important part of HYFA is the support provided to junior members, and that support is only possible through generous donations. The tax-deductible donations of American Hereford Association members and partners who see the potential of the HYFA to support programs and activities that not only benefit the Hereford breed today, but in the future.

Scholarship

By working with the HYFA Board of Directors, donors can reward Hereford juniors for their success within the National Junior Hereford Association, support students for their academic achievement, or support students who otherwise would not be able to attend a college or university.

Endowments

Endowments that are awarded for specific purposes can be established through the Hereford Youth Foundation of America to provide funding for scholarships, specific programs, or awards through the National Junior Hereford Association.

Memorials

A gift to the HYFA in memory of an individual will allow their passion and love for the Hereford breed to live on by supporting programs that provide inspiration and leadership for our Hereford youth involved in the continuation of our great breed.

Hereford Research Foundation

The research division was developed to support programs that enhance beef cattle production. These projects are conducted throughout the U.S. in conjunction with universities, private firms and ranches and are funded by donations.

Junior National Hereford Expo

HYFA is a major supporter of the Junior National Hereford Expo (JNHE) and donating to the different programs hosted by HYFA, ranging from contests to awards and other things in between is another way to make an impact on the next generation.
