Foundation 1 Campaign

The Foundation 1 Campaign was initiated by Sierra Ranches, Modesto, Calif., with the intent that 1% of the proceeds of their fall production sale were donated to HYFA. The Ladies of the Royal and Mile High Night Sale followed suit and shortly after HYFA welcomed the Hereford Prep Collection and Michelle Weber Studios to the Foundation 1 Campaign. It has continued to grow as a way for organizations, families and ranches to support the Hereford youth and the future of the breed. We invite others to come grow with us and see how 1 percent over time can make a huge difference.

Upcoming Sales & Fundraisers

December 6, 2024 – Reno Livestock Event Center, Reno, Nev.

It is important to the Brumley family of Orovada, Nev., to always give back to those who have had such an impact on their family, and so many families involved with the Hereford breed. With that being said, Brumley Farms will be donating 50% of the proceeds to the HYFA Foundation.

A Message from Brumley Farms about Lots 1 & 2

If one is good, two is better, right?! It has become a tradition to offer what we believe combines show ring appeal, with cow power in mind. We could not settle on just one this year, so we thought, why not sell two. Both females have been genomic tested, they are free of all genetic abnormalities. Better yet, they BOTH came back with big time genomic figures, including 8 traits in the top 10% in the breed, or better. We like to raise cattle that are good in the flesh, but don’t make sacrifices on paper. We feel these females are an accurate representation of this goal.
Bid with confidence! Brumley Farms retains the right to two successful flushes on both females, at buyer’s convenience, and seller’s expense. Both females are entered in Cattlemen’s Congress and Denver.
