GRAND ISLAND, Neb. —Logan McFatridge, National Junior Hereford Association (NJHA) member from Otterbein, Ind., received the $2,500 Bud Snidow Award at the 2024 Vitaferm®Junior National Hereford Expo (JNHE). The award was presented during the Hereford Youth Foundation of America (HYFA) Scholarship, Award and Maroon Jacket Ceremony on July 11 in Grand Island, Neb. McFatridge will be a senior at Purdue University majoring in agribusiness. After graduation, McFatridge plans to pursue a career in the beef industry with a goal of becoming a cattle buyer.
